Executive Chef Simon Lawson first started cooking at a very early age in his Grandmother’s kitchen. He used to sit on the kitchen bench and help her wash rice, this was where he started a life long passion for food. He has a great ability for marrying flavours and creating dishes which are delicious and nutritious. He has worked in Sydney’s top restaurants. Previously, Head Chef at Nove Cucina Restaurant in Woolloomooloo.
An exciting new chapter begins for Agapé Organic™ as we were chosen as one of ten food trucks to hit the streets of Sydney from March 2012.
Agapé Organic™ is breaking down the stigma that organic food is expensive. It doesn't have to be! Using local ingredients, buying smartly and in season. Organic food is better for you, tastes better and is better for the world we live in. Also, focusing on ancient grains such as spelt and amaranth, which is easy for the body to digest. Quinoa in particular is a gluten free grain with a high protein content and absolutely delicious.
Agapé Organic Restaurant Bar has a private function room for up to 32 guests. The Restaurant is available for Weddings, Corporate Christmas Parties and Celebrations. Corporate and Private Catering menus are available upon request.
