The village is a resident-funded charitable organisation, motivated by Christian values for the care and welfare of aged and disabled people ensuring they live happily and independently.
Adelene is only three kilometres from Gosford Railway Station and even closer to Wyoming Shopping Centre – a major commercial hub with a wide variety of shops.
The Central Coast offers an enviable lifestyle for its residents. Embraced by the Pacific Ocean on one side and ancient native forests on the other, the region boasts stunning natural beauty and a range of recreational activities second to none. Adelene is at the very heart of this magical area.
Regular bus services, available from a bus stop near the front of the village, provide transport to major shopping centres at Erina and Tuggerah, as well as areas of great natural beauty such as Terrigal, The Entrance and Avoca.
Adelene Retirement Village is unique in that it is owned and financed by the residents.
The village consists of 93 self-care two bedroom units, 16 self-care one bedroom units, a 35 bed hostel and a 50 bed nursing home.
With three levels of care in the one facility Adelene can cater for the changing needs of people during the different stages of their life.
