Established in May 1995, on Queenslands Sunshine Coast, AAA Cartridge Recharge was amongst the first true toner printer cartridge remanufacturers in Australia. Initially expanding sales into all Queensland & the Northern Territory, the introduction of the internet soon paved the way for national enquiry and orders primarily from businesses utilization of larger quicker printers (i.e. laser printer toner cartridges). Over the years our customer base has encompassed local businesses right through to some of Australia's largest companies, all seeking to reduce excessively priced genuine manufacturer original printer cartridges.

As the baby boomers sought new technology and generations X & Y were born, computers in homes became as common as household pets. Computers need printers, this new age home usage resulted in the development of a cheaper more affordable printer cartridge type, the inkjet or ink cartridge. Whereas laser printer toner cartridges are like a fine dust with metal content bonded to page by a fuser, the inkjet was liquid, not unlike the olden day fountain pens, but with a substantially enhanced intellectual delivery system, the printhead. The recharge / remanufacturer industry as it was initially known in the early 90's, soon embraced the inkjet technology and delivered, in most instances, an easy cost effective way to not only refill printer ink cartridges, but for consumers end users to do it themselves. Unlike toner cartridges, and this is the reason we do not sell toner refill kits, consumers are seldom told the full picture. In a nutshell, they are not as simple to refill & more time consuming then ink cartridges, are easily ruined, and no it is not as simple as drill & fill. Drum exposure will ruin your cartridge, drill or burn containment accessing the cartridge into the toner hopper will ruin both the doctor blade & magnetic roller eventually ruining the drum, leading to unbearably poor print quality. Cleaning of moving parts, emptying the waste toner hopper ( never disclosed ) & the list goes on. Don't risk it, you will hate yourself and not only ruin the cartridge, you may also ruin your printer.
