Our bodies are highly adaptable to these conditions and can often work at maximum efficiency without actually losing electrolytes. But for intense workouts? Electrolyte imbalance becomes inevitable, and it’s therefore wise to at least try to minimise its effect.


Why should I lie? It will not be a game-changer. You will not feel like a completely different person and achieve physical feats that previously seemed like they would be pretty much impossible. You will still be you with all your strengths and limitations. However, you WILL feel better, and you WILL notice that your endurance, strength and more importantly, recovery times receive a boost. How much that boost will be depends on countless factors, including genetics. But for pretty much everyone, an electrolyte supplement will have a guaranteed positive impact.
