'Kavalan' is the name of an area just outside I-Lan in Taiwan. The indigenous inhabitants of this mysterious land are also referred to as the Kavalan Clan. The elegant blue bottle pictured is the 'Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique' which won the WORLDS BEST SINGLE MALT WHISKY in 2015 at the IWSC, an award which put Taiwan firmly on the world whisky map! Nose: Rich vanilla and dark chocolate, followed by ripe melon, mango, kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits & a hint of pepper Palate: Caramel, marzipan, coffee, vanilla, fudge, dried black fruits.
