A shed is probably the most versatile of all types of buildings. The sizes and shapes in which it occurs are truly amazing. Today, whether it is in the form of a shelter for a vehicle, a small garden workshop to pursue hobbies or a large storage facility for farms, sheds are a perfect choice. Since there is a large variety of them, the classification of sheds could be made based on a number of different factors and qualities they possess. The first distinction can be made on the basis of whether it is a domestic structure or part of a commercial complex.
Domestic sheds can vary in size depending on the purpose for which they are built. The smallest ones are usually in the form of a kit with wooden or plastic parts that can be put together quite easily. These are mostly used for storing garden equipment like lawn equipment, gardening utilities and other small tools. It can also be used for storing plants that need shade and bottles of pesticides and bags of manure or seeds. These are very common in almost all homes with a front yard and kitchen garden. The reason these sheds are so popular is because they are very inexpensive and easily available. However, the space restrictions imply that these types of sheds can only be used only for small items.
