Peasant. Best tapas in Brisbane.
Customer said : "The service was good, the waiter seemed pretty knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine.In addition to olives/bread and a couple of glasses of wine we ordered 3 small plates and a large plate to share between two which was about the right amount. The food was nice but forgettable. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it, it was just a bit average. Then comes the price. It cost us about $164 which was just too expensive for what we ate. I know that is comparable to what you pay in many Brisbane restaurants but it just isn't justifiable for the quality of food. Rather you're paying because of its location and proximity to other reasonably pricy restaurants/bars.So overall can't award more than 3 stars and probably won't go back. The restaurant next door (Libertine) does a Chefs Special tasting menu for about $55-$60 a head which consisted of 7 taster courses, was nicer and offered better value"
