Communal Bar & Eat House is a stylish new restaurant and bar situated within the revamped Brisbane Square.
Located within the Brisbane CBD at the top of Queen Street Mall, Brisbane Square is an iconic building located in the heart of the government and legal precincts along George Street. The property is comprised of premium office space over 38 levels, ground floor retail and parking over three basement levels. Brisbane Square is situated at 266 George Street.
Inspired by gastro-pubs and putting pay to its namesake, Communal seats 200 and features long shared tables, 24 beers and four wines on tap, a yellow-tiled Italian wood fired oven and private cocktail bar. There are almost 20 cocktails and eight cocktail jug specialities, as well as a top shelf offering of speciality beers, ciders and wines. The kitchen is headed by Ben Limpus with the speciality being shared plates and wood fired pizzas, together with a very cool selection of burgers, and dishes from the flare grill. It’s a gathering place for people from all walks, with a real sense of place.
