Restaurants - Melbourne, VIC
Chocolate Buddha is a casual eatery serving dishes mainly from Japan, but also with influences from other parts of Asia.
Our mission is to serve quality tasty meals in a friendly and inviting communal-seating environment. You can dine in either our beautifully decorated restaurant or outside on our terrace, which offers exclusive and expansive views of Melbourne’s ever-evolving skyline, skirting the Yarra River.
Operating since 2003 by the same family, Chocolate Buddha is the culmination of two generations and four decades of hospitality experience.
We are proud to be a part of Federation Square, which is perhaps the most important communal landmark location within our amazing city. It’s a place where Melbourne congregates, celebrates, contemplates and occasionally even demonstrates. Nowhere else is the pulse of our city more palpable.
We hope you savour your experience at Chocolate Buddha, and we appreciate your custom in a brilliant city brimming with food and beverage choices.
(Does it show that we love Melbourne?)
The land Federation Square occupies was once the home to the Kulin confederacy of Aboriginal peoples who lived here for thousands of years.
We humbly acknowledge and pay tribute to the Wurundjeri people who are the custodians of this land.
We love Chocolate Buddha and hope you do too!
