ReachLocal Named a Finalist in 2015 American Business Awards

ReachLocal Inc. (NASDAQ:RLOC), a leader in powering online marketing for local businesses, announced today that it was named a finalist in The 2015 American Business Awards. Its ReachEdge solution is being recognized in the “New Product or Service of the Year — Lead Generation Solution” category and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie® Award winner in the program. The new product awards will be presented at The American Business Awards event in San Francisco on Friday, September 11.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for The American Business Awards consideration. Nominations spanned a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and Human Resources Department of the Year, among others.

By blending both technology and service, ReachLocal’s ReachEdge provides local business owners with the right balance of marketing science and art, without taking their attention away from the various responsibilities that exist when running a business. ReachEdge allows business owners to be as hands-off or hands-on as they want, and gives them the freedom to review their real-time reporting dashboard at any time. ReachEdge is available in nine countries – the U.S., Canada, the U.K., the Netherlands, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Austria.

“ReachEdge reporting shows exactly how many leads a business is getting from each of its marketing sources -- both online and offline -- along with the number of new customers it’s gained and its estimated revenue, so that business owners can calculate ROI,” said Kris Barton, ReachLocal’s Chief Product Officer. “Additionally, business owners receive insights to help them improve ROI down the road, like the exact days and times people are contacting them and how effectively their team is responding to leads and converting them into new customers.”

The American Business Awards finalists were chosen by scores of business professionals nationwide during first-round judging in April and May. Members of several specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place later this month.
