  • A listing of my business already exists. How do I claim it?
    To register as a true owner of a listed business, click "Claim this listing". Read the warranty terms and click "Confirm". You can now edit the listing information for the business.
  • Can I make my press release rank highly in Top4 search results?
    Use the “Bump Up” feature to move your ad back to the top of the listings in your specific category. Go to your member page. On the left-hand column, go to "Manage Business" > "Press Releases" and click "Manage".

    Look for the release you want to highlight. Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Bump up this press release". This will move your press release back to the top of the listings, until more advertisements in the category are posted. You will be charged 3 credits to complete the task.

    Go to the Press Releases page and you will see your release on top of the list.
  • Can I make my product rank highly in Top4 search results?

    Go back to the category page of the product you have bumped up and you will see it on top of the list.
  • Can I stop following someone?
    You can stop following any member anytime. Go to the "People" page and click on the "Your Connections" tab. Under the "Your Connections" column found on the left side of the page, click "Following".

    Click the "Following" button that appears on the profile of the member that you want to stop following. Top4 doesn't send a notification when you unfollow someone.
  • Do you accept cash/cheque payment?
    Much as we love to, we currently do not accept cash/cheque payments. However, we are working hard to provide a solution for the same.
  • Do you support PayPal/Bit coin payment?
    At present, we support payment only through Visa, Mastercard or American Express. However, our team is continuously working to integrate other options for your convenience.
  • Duplicate/Incorrect listings
    Sometimes Top4 can have more than one listing for your business (our sincere apologies). If you already have a correct listing, just submit the incorrect duplicate for removal on our contact us page.
  • How do I add or edit content on my business listing?
    Sign in to your account. On the left-hand column, click “Manage Business” > “Listings” to add, edit or update information.
  • How can I create a new paragraph or line break within a comment?
    Press the Shift and Enter buttons on your keyboard at the same time to create a new paragrah or line break within a comment.
  • How can I list my business on Top4?
    Click “Add Your Business” and enter the required information in the fields provided.

    Feel free to add more details in your listing, including a brief description and your business logo.
  • How can I make changes to the press releases I have published?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Press Releases" and click "Manage".

    Look for the press release you want to change. Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Pause this press release" to take down the press release, or click "Edit this press release" to make changes to the information you have posted.
  • How can I post a press release on Top4?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Press Releases" and click "Add".

    You will be taken to the "Add New Press Release" page. Enter the required information in the fields provided. Click "Submit" to publish the release.
  • How can I post my job advertisement on Top4?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Jobs" and click "Manage".

    On the Manage Your Job Listings Page, click the "Post a new job" button. You can now add a new job by filling in the information for each field provided. Click "submit".
  • How can I post my product advertisement on Top4?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Products" and click "Add". Enter the product information in the fields provided.
  • How do I apply for a job?
    Go to the Jobs page and click on the job advertisement you are interested in. On the job information page, click "Apply for this job". A pop-up window will appear. Enter the information in the fields provided and click "Send".
  • How do I check the applications to my job advertisements?
    Go to your member page. On the left hand side menu, under "View Leads", click on "Job Applications".

    Under the "Job Applicants" tab, you can see the applications and enquiries submitted for the job applications you have posted.
  • How do I comment on something I see on Top4?
    Hover your cursor over the image that accompanies the post that you would like to comment on.

    Click the Comment icon located on the third box from the left. Type your comment in the box provided. Press enter or retun to publish the comment.
  • How do I contact the business owner?
    You can use various ways to contact a business by choosing from the options listed under the business address:

    - Phone: Click "Phone" and the business's phone number will appear.

    - Email: Click "Email" and a pop-up window will appear containing a field for you to type in your message.

    - Web: Enter "Web" and you will be directed to the business's website.

    You can also click the "Make an Enquiry" button" found on the right-hand side of the listing to send a message to the business owner.
  • How do I delete or edit a comment I posted?
    We currently don't have a feature that will allow you to delete or edit your posted comments.
  • How do I edit a job?
    On the "Manage Your Job Listings" page, go to "Your Active Jobs" tab and look for the job advertisement that you want to edit.

    Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Edit this job" to change, add or update the job advertisement details.
  • How do I edit my product information?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Products" and click "Manage" and look for the product listing you want to edit. You can now edit, update or add information about the product.
  • How do I get a quote?
    Go to the product page. Click the "Add to Quote" button found on the upper right-hand side of the page. You should now see the product listed in your shopping cart. Click "Get a Quote". Review the information on your Quote List and click "Send Quote".
  • How do I hide an inappropriate comment from other people?
    To remove a comment from your posts, choose and click the "hide link and report" option beside the inappropriate comment.
  • How do I join Top4?
    Joining Top4 is quick and easy. You can sign up using your email, or you can simply login via Facebook, Google+ or LinkedIn account.
  • How do I know who I am following?
    Go to the "People" page and click on the "Your Connections" tab. The profiles of the members you are following will appear on the list.
  • How do I know who is following me?
    Go to the "People" page and click on the "Your Connections" tab. Under the "Your Connections" column found on the left side of the page, click "Followers". The profiles of the members who are folowing you will appear on the list.
  • How do I like an update?
    Hover your cursor over the image of the update. Click on the like (heart) icon to show your appreciation for the post without needing to leave a comment.
  • How do I look for a person or a business in Top4?
    Go to the "People" page and click on the "Find People" tab. Type the name into the search box located on top of the page.
  • How do I manage my job applications?
    Go to your member page. On the left hand side menu, under "View Leads", click on "Job Applications".

    On the "Applied Jobs" tab, you can see the enquiries you have sent. The page also shows the messages you have received and sent regarding each application.
  • How do I manage my leads from products?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Messages" and click "Quotes".

    Under the "My Leads" tab, you can see the enquiries sent about the items you have posted. You can send a reply to the enquiry on the same thread.
  • How do I manage the product that I send in a quote?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Messages" and click "Quotes".

    Under the "My Enquiries" tab, you can see the quote enquiries you have sent. You can send a reply to the enquiry on the same thread.
  • How do I post an update?
    Go to the "Newsfeeds" page. Click on the "Share an update" button and type your message inside the box. Click on the image icon located on the top right side of the box to add an image to the post.

    Click "Send." You can also check the boxes beside the social media and email icons if you want to share the post to your contacts outside Top4.
  • How do I rank highly in Top4 search results?
    Use the “Bump Up” feature to move your ad back to the top of the listings in your specific category. Go to your account page or click "Manage Listings". On the left-hand column, go to "Manage Business" > "Listings" and click "Manage".

    Go to the business listing you have chosen to highlight. Click "Bump up this listing" option found on the right-hand side. A pop-up window will appear, asking for your permission to charge 3 credit points from your Top4 account to complete the task. Click "Yes".

    Go back to the category of the business you have bumped up and you will see it on top of the list.
  • How do I rank my job advertisement higher on Top4 search results?
    On the "Manage Your Job Listings" page, go to "Your Active Jobs" tab and look for the job advertisement that you want to edit.

    Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Bump up this job". This will move your advertisement back to the top of the listings, until more advertisements in the category are posted. You will be charged 3 credits to complete the task.
  • How do I rate businesses ?
    Look for the rating star icons found on the upper right-hand side of the business listing. Click the number of stars that corresponds to how you rate the business.
  • How do I remove copyrighted material/private info?
    If you have found a copyrighted photo, blog or other material being used on the our site and you have not authorised use of this material, we will remove the material. Please email your documents and information to us.
  • How do I share an update?
    Hover your cursor over the image of the update. Click on the Share icon located on the second box from the left. Add your comment in the box provided. Check the box beside the social media and email icons if you want to share the post to contacts outside Top4. Click "Share" to submit.
  • How frequently will I need to add credits?
    The amount of credits you add and the frequency is completely in your control. We would suggest you to ensure you have sufficient credits especially while running a promotional offer so that you get maximum visibility.
  • How news feeds works?
    The Newsfeeds page shows all the posts, news, business listings, jobs, products and press releases from you and your Top4 users whom you are following and who follow you.
  • How safe and secure are my card details?
    Top4 ensures that your card details are fully encrypted and processed over a secure server. We do not store your card details. For more information access our Privacy Policy & Terms & Conditions or get in touch with one of our team members here.
  • How secure is personal information on Top4?
    Top4 will not share, sell or trade any piece if your personal information to anyone.

  • How will I know if a potential customer makes an enquiry?
    Go to your member page. On the "Manage Business" column found on the left-hand side of the page, go to "Messages" and click "Enquiries".

    Under the "My Leads" tab, you can see the enquiries users have made to the listings you own.

    Meanwhile, the "My Enquiries" tab shows the enquiries you have sent to other businesses.
  • How would you use my credit card details?

  • I have multiple businesses. Can I use different cards for each?
    Yes. We provide you complete access over your preferred payment method. Don't forget to select the right card while adding credit points.
  • I noticed a listing information error. How can I inform Top4 about it?
    To report an error, go to the business listing page. Under the business address line, click "Report."

    The "Report Listing" pop-up window will appear. Identify the problem among the following choices: Duplicated LIsting, LIsting Detail Inaccurate, Listing Location Wrong or Out of Date, LIsting Business No Longer Available, or Other.

    Fill in the Problem Description box for additional information.

    Click "Submit.
  • I’ve forgotten my password. How do I retrieve it?
    Click “Forgot your password” in the sign-in window. You will receive an email in the account you have registered. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
  • What are Credit Points and how can I use them?
    Credit points are loyalty points which are used to view Leads or 'Bump-Up' your listings (more details about the Bump up can be accessed here). Each credit point equals A$ 1 and can be purchased in the 'Purchase Credit Points' section under 'Make your Payment'.

  • What happens when I follow someone on Top4?
    When you decide to follow a person or a business, you will be subscribed to the information they post publicly on Top4. The updates (business listings, products, job postings, press releases, etc.) made by the people you are following will appear in your newsfeed.
  • What happens when someone "follows" me?
    Your followers will be notified every time you make a public post on Top4. Your updates will appear on their newsfeed.
  • What if I don't want to receive any more applications for a live job ad?
    On the "Manage Your Job Listings" page, go to the "Your Active Jobs" tab and look for the job ad that you want to take down.

    Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Pause this job".
  • What if I want to edit my account information, contact information and profile information?
    You can update your account details anytime you like. Click “Manage Profile” on the right-hand side of the screen and make the necessary changes.
  • What is the 'Status' option under Transaction History? I have made a payment but my credits are not updated.

  • What should I do if I want to post the same position but the advertisement has been expired?
    On the "Manage Your Job Listings" page, go to "Your Expired Jobs" tab and look for the job advertisement that you want to repost.

    Go to the list of options on the right-hand side of the page and click "Repost this job". You will be charged $2 for reposting the job information.
  • What should I do if my business has already been claimed by another user?
    If you find that your listing has already been claimed by another party, contact us at support@top4.com.au
  • When will I be charged and for what?
    You will be deducted of credit points only when you 'Bump-Up' your listings/jobs/products or view lead details. So do ensure you have sufficient credits to enable you to bump up your listing whenever you require.
  • Who can see my profile?
    Your profile information can be seen by any visitor to Top4. Your personal information will remain confidential and will not be displayed publicly.
  • Why can't I find my listing?
    If you have troublefinding your listings, here are a few possible suggestions for it:

    1. Check your login details. It is quiet possible that you have multiple logins and have signed up into the wrong one. If that is the case, sign out and sign in again.

    2. Recency: A listing just published may sometimes take a few minutes to reflect in our domain. That is completely normal. Just try again in a couple of minutes and you should be able to view your listings.

    3. With every new listing, the preceding ones go a step down the ladder. It is possible that your listing is pushed out of the first page. In that case, you can Bump-Up your listing to top of the category.

    4. Technicality: Although extremely rare, it could be possible that our server is having technical issues in updating the listings. Get in touch with us through our 'contact us' page and we will have someone look into it immediately.
  • Why can't I login?
    We're sorry you're having trouble logging in. Have you tried resetting your browser? Often times, this will immediately clear up any login troubles.

    Top 4 Solutions:

    1. Reset your Browser - Cache/cookie issues tend to cause the most login trouble.

    2. Try a different email - You may be using the wrong email to login - try to recall the email you used to set up the account.

    3. Claim the Listing - It sounds silly, but you might be trying to access an unclaimed business listing. In this case, just visit the listing page and click the option to claim it! Or request to remove it if you find its a duplicate.

    4. Carefully enter your password and remember passwords are CASE sensitive. If you think you have forgotten your password, click the 'Forgot your Password' option

    Still can’t login? If all else fails you can always send an email to us, we’ll take care of the rest.
  • Why did I stop receiving Top4 emails?
    You may accidentally opted out of our email system. Click here to check your email status and opt back in if needed. Remember, you can visit your Email and Marketing Preferences to manage which emails you receive. If you still aren't receiving emails, make sure your email client is not spamming us (check your junk mail!)
  • Why won't Top4 take my email?
    If you are having trouble entering a login email or editing a login email, it's probably already on file for another listing. Each listing must have a unique email and unfortunately removing an old listing does not remove the email from our system. Try using a different email, this should solve the problem.
