WWII Oil Storage Tunnel Tours located in the Darwin Wharf Precinct on Kitchener Drive was reopened in 1992 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin. It was built during WWII by the Civil Construction Corps and lately became a unique tourist attraction.
This tourist facility is self guided, their tour guide provides historical information relating to the concept of the tunnels. The WWII Tunnels features a photographic display of brave men and women who served in the protection of our great country.
