Vets @ North Rocks specialises in general health checks, vaccinations, parasite control and prevention, desexing, weight control program, nutritional advice, basic training, dental health and more.
Vets @ North Rocks is a fully-equipped, modern veterinary hospital with digital x-ray, ultrasound and pathology testing on-site. We have the facilities to manage patients with a variety of conditions including heart disease, kidney disease, endocrine disorders and various cancers. We are committed to best practice medicine for all the patients who come under our care.
Our veterinarians are all undertaking post-graduate studies to make sure we provide the most modern and effective therapies for our patients. With the experienced surgeons we have on board, we are also able to perform a wide variety of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. Our senior surgeons are trained in modern fracture repair techniques and stifle surgies for routine health requirements, we offer a complete vaccination and dental health service, as well as treatments for fleas, ticks, intestinal worms and heartworm.
Vets @ North Rocks also have a keen interest in dermatology, and enjoy the reward of managing those challenging skin and ear cases. As it is for all devoted pet owners, the wellbeing of your companion is always the highest priority to us.
We also provide cat boarding and grooming services. Cat boarding can be busy during school holiday periods, so it is important to book in advance to make sure you do not miss out. Clipping and grooming can be very important to keep your cat comfortable, particularly those that are long-haired. We recommend keep your cat's coat short, particularly in summer.
This helps to avoid problems with matting, and makes it easier to notice skin conditions and ticks/fleas. Cat grooming is performed by our qualified nurse/groomer, Courtney. Some cats may need sedation for grooming to minimise stress, and we are able to provide this under qualified veterinary supervision.
