At Vege Rama we believe in food prepared with care and commitment to community. We are committed to providing a standard of service that rivals the standard of our meals. There’s nothing better than wholesome meal accompanied by a smile, which is what we love to deliver to our wonderful customers. In a day and age where plants that grow from the earth cost more than chemical-rampant, highly processed products, we provide high quality food at affordable prices, as we believe money should not hinder one’s access to a healthy lifestyle.
At Vege Rama we believe in practicing and promoting sustainable practices. There is a plethora of ways in which we can preserve our planet. Our philosophy focuses on preserving our planet by living a plant-based lifestyle and reducing the environmental impact of food. We aim to minimise food miles, the distance our food travels from paddock to plate, by sourcing seasonal produce locally. We aim to minimise use of chemicals and agricultural runoff which damages our beautiful natural resources and ecosystems, by supporting organic and biodynamic farming. With all this in tow, we aim to maximise the impact we make on your body, health and taste buds!
At Vege Rama we believe that the fork is mightier than the sword. We believe in practicing a food-centered mindfulness that extends beyond the plate, because our choices have the power to change more than just our satisfied bellies. A commitment to a plant-based diet can make a difference, and we are just a small part of the revolution towards a healthier, more compassionate and more sustainable future. We use food as a medium to express our values and ambitions of banding together to achieve an equitable world.
