Our story starts on the streets of Melbourne in the summer of ’98, when our founder Rocky Veneziano envisioned a quality alternative.
Locally sourced and high-quality ingredients are dynamically paired to create a new fusion of modern Australian cuisine with European influences.
Fruit and vegetables are sourced in partnership with our suppliers from growers that have implemented sustainable farming practices. Our beef is from the finest grass-fed cattle of the elite Victorian High Country and Gippsland regions. Our chickens are chemically free from La Ionica Poultry. The food we serve is mindfully sourced for a better taste and a stronger Australia.
The Groove Train selects only the best ingredients for our dishes. Our pizza dough is hand stretched and made to order using completely natural ingredients and the highest quality flour available on the market. Bread is baked locally and made fresh daily whenever feasible. The tomatoes used for our Napoli sauce and our pizza’s and pasta’s are imported direct from Italy. At the Groove Train you can expect carefully crafted dishes made with the finest ingredients.
Made fresh to order is our standard mode of operation. Highly processed meals lack the vibrancy and flavour of whole foods made fresh. We bring it from the market to your plate. Our chefs are sticklers for quality and freshness because they know it makes the difference between bland and fabulous. Food is our muse and we aim to please.
