Stirling Medical Centre is a long established practice which is located in the Adelaide Hills approximately 20 minutes away from the city. The doctors provide a comprehensive range of family medical services and have special interests including mental health & relationship counselling, community medicine, complementary medicine, women’s health, child and maternal health and aviation medicals.
Home visits, check-ups, family planning, women’s health, menopause advice, pap smears, pregnancy tests, heart check, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, vaccinations, travel advice, minor surgery, stitching cuts, removal of some moles and sunspots, liquid nitrogen freezing therapy for sun spots and warts, nutritional advice, industrial medical advice and consultation, sports medicine, skin checks, diabetes & asthma clinics, nutritional medicine & some natural therapies. All the doctors are vocationally registered. This means that they are committed to continuing education and quality medicine. We also have access to a full range of specialist services should further investigations or referral be required. Costs & risks that these may incur will be discussed with you. All the doctors have admitting privileges at Stirling and District Hospital. This means that should you need hospital care, you can be looked after by your own doctor, where appropriate. The hospital is a private community hospital and therefore private health insurance is advised.
