Kirinari Early Childhood Centre provides high quality child care and educational programming for children from birth to six years of age.
Located on the University of Canberra campus, Kirinari Early Childhood Centre provides high quality child care and educational programming for children from birth to six years of age.
Kirinari became incorporated in 1974. Kirinari's building and grounds have been through extensive renovations over the years to maintain a high standard environment for the children in our care.
Kirinari first went through the accreditation process in November 1996, gaining the highest possible accreditation. We strive to provide high quality care and education and this has been reflected in our accreditation history, where we have achieved the highest standards in 2000, 2004, 2007 and 2009. We went through the National Quality Standards assessment in 2013 and achieved a rating of Exceeding.
Care is offered on a full time, part time or semester basis, catering for the needs of University students, staff and the wider community.
Kirinari is a community based organisation funded by a combination of parents' fees and fund raising.
The Management Committee manages the Centre and is elected annually by the members of the Centre.
