Doyalson Wyee RSL Club located in Doyalson boasts their facilities that provide the community with dining, entertainment, sporting fields and a place to relax and meet with friends.
Doyalson Wyee RSL Club was started by 11 foundation members in July 1958, Doyalson - Wyee RSL has grown from strength to strength to make it the club it is now. With well in excess of 18,000 members the club boasts facilities that provide the community with dining, entertainment, sporting fields and a place to relax and meet with friends.
Doyalson- Wyee RSL relocated its first club house from Wyong Bowling Club in August 1963 and become a licenced club on Christmas Eve 1964. The first poker machine licence came into effect on January 1st 1965, the club at this point owned 6 gaming machines.
From these humble beginnings the club has continued to trade through the decades gaining many loyal members and extending its offering to the community. In 2010 the club took progressive action to make adjustments that saw the facilities become modernised with a new look and feel, with renovations in the dining and gaming rooms. The new fresh look of the club has been welcomed by the community who have utilised the offerings and seen the club reach its busiest trading periods ever.
In August 2012 the Club amalgamated with Tunkuwallin Tennis & Sports Club at Summerland Point, now renamed the Summerland Point Sports & Recreation Club, with re-development currently underway to provide a venue of choice to the Gwandalan and Summerland Point community. 2012 saw the Club experience continued steady growth with the assets currently totalling over 24 million dollars and the strongest financial result in the Club’s history for the second consecutive year
