Cape Hawke Veterinary Hospital was established in 1998 and moved to its new purpose built premises in 2009.
The clinic became an independently owned Veterinary clinic on August 13th 2010, separate from the other clinics in Forster and Tuncurry. It is owned by David Hare BVSc.
As well as conventional veterinary medicine, we also provide complementary medicine in the form of Homoeopathy. This can be used to treat a wide range of problems such as skin disease and behavioural problems.
Cape Hawke Veterinary Hospital is primarily a small animal Veterinary Hospital. We cater for all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery treating dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and other pets.
Large animal work is also undertaken by Cape Hawke Veterinary Hospital. Species treated include horses, cows, sheep and goats.
We provide veterinary services for the suburbs: Forster, Tuncurry, Greenpoint, Coomba Park, Pacific Palms, Bungwahl, Seals Rocks, Bulahdelah, Taree, Failford, Nabiac, Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach, Rainbow Flat, Smiths Lakes, Wootten, Coolongolook and Possum Brush.

We do reduced rate work for animal welfare league and FAWNA.
